Datz the only way I can title this blog.

For wrestling fans like myself, we are all sad that Ric Flair's career had to end. But what better place for it to end than at Wrestlemania 24. And after watching the farewell ceremony for the Nature Boy, I was close to tears. The song chosen for the tribute was so fitting, I had to download it.

When I think about it, even tho he travelled the world over, not all wrestling fans can say they saw him live in person and in action even once; and I had the priviledge of seeing him in person, twice.

One thing I wished did happen, was if the Undertaker had brought the World Heavyweight Championship with him and placed it on Ric's shoulder, like Triple H did a few yrs back. That would have been the ultimate icing on the cake. But nonetheless, that was the most emotional tribute I have ever seen.

Thank you, "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, for the memories. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Six months in Toronto

Seems like yesterday, even tho it was 2 yrs ago, that I left for Brizzy. I still remember the send off from my family and frens alike. Feeling nostalgic, u mite say, but tonite was the feeling for me; coz this time, it's my sister who's getting the send off, to Toronto. Shez goin there for a foreign exchange program for 1 sem, before comin back. I was going through the same wave of emotions she did when she sent me off 2 yrs ago. This time it was my turn, teary-eyed with a lump in my throat and a heavy heart.

Dear Lord, I pray that You'll bless her with journey mercies as she takes the long flight to Toronto, and I pray You'll keep her safe in once she's there, the same way You have kept me safe when I was in Brisbane for 2 years. In Jesus's name I pray, Amen.

Six more months, my dear sister, and you'll be back.

Still here!!

Yeh folks im still here......juz havent been updating for awhile. Just a little update.

1. Uni reunion
Originally, the reunion was for Jess when she came back 4 a 2 wk break. Last minute she had to stay home 4 dinner. So the main star was not ard. Still ok tho. Got the chance to catch up wif da others: Mich, Jojo, Sam & PJ.

2. Wedding No.3
Another cousin of mine is married. This time round he from my mum's side. Had to rush from office to attend his dinner coz it was on a friday. But for someone who has watched me grow up from young, I wldnt miss his dinner for anything.

3. Wedding No. 4
This one took place 9 days after my cousin's wedding. This one is my poly classmate. Food was rather average, but still an enjoyable nite.

4. Staff Chalet
This one took place during Hari Raya. First time I actually had a company event for staff members only.

And im still gymming around, working in the office, blah blah blah.....

The busiest month ever!!!!!

Work.

Datz the one word that has been keeping me sooooooo bz, I spent my b'day in the office. Never happened b4. But for some reason, it doesnt phase me one bit. Eventually I did spend dinner wif my family, but even then I wasnt anticipating anything. It was juz another day for me. Man, wat a turn around. Datz how work has affected me.

Nonetheless, I managed to get all my stuff outta way, at least now I have some breathing room to relax a bit, dat is b4 the next mth of reporting begins.

In between, had some highlights. First, my best fren's wedding and dinner. Had the honour of being the MC for his wedding dinner. Truly a nite I will never forget.

Then, WWE!!! And to be honest, I think this event was better than the one in Auzzie. Why? For the simple fact dat they didnt announce the card on their website, which is good coz no one wld know who is facing who. It was incredible, seeing superstars like Ric Flair, Batista, Kane, Great Khali, Finlay, Chris Masters, Elijah Burke and others live and in person. But wat surprised me even more was how popular WWE is in Singapore. I went to the Singapore Indoor Stadium abt 90 mins b4 showtime and the long queues were already lining up. Unbelievable!
